Colorado Spruce

Full Sun - at least 6 hours of direct sunlight daily

Also called the Blue Spruce, this classic evergreen has a perfect pyramid shape and beautiful needles that shade from green to silvery blue. It reaches 30–60 feet high and grows about 10–20 feet wide at the base.

White Pine

Full Sun to Part Shade - Loves bright light

This hardy evergreen features dense, dark green needles and a classic cone shape. It is a slow-growing, tough tree that provides excellent privacy and wind protection. It typically grows to a height of 30–60 feet and reaches 15–25 feet wide.

Black Hills Spruce

Full Sun to Part Shade – Adapts to many spots

This compact evergreen shows off short, pretty blue‑green needles. Because it grows slowly and stays thick, it is perfect for small yards or privacy screens. It usually matures to 30–40 feet tall and spreads about 15–20 feet wide at the base.

Red, White, Pin Oaks

Red Oak: Full sun. A fast grower with sharp, pointed leaves that turn a stunning brick‑red each fall.

White Oak: Full sun to part shade. This moderate grower has soft, rounded leaves and a beautiful wide canopy.

​

Pin Oak: Full sun. Grows quickly with shiny leaves and is very hardy in dry or sandy soil, making it a tough, lovely choice.

Hacksberry

Full Sun to Part Shade – Moderate to fast growth

This tough tree stands up to strong wind, ice, and road salt. It has light green leaves that turn yellow in fall and a unique, corky bark, making it a hardy, reliable choice.

Sugar Maple

Full Sun to Shade – Moderate growth

This iconic tree is loved for its wide, rounded canopy and cool shade. Its lush green summer leaves turn into a brilliant mix of yellow, orange, and red each fall, adding classic color to any yard.
